FAQ
Frequent questions about 5’OFF
5’OFF GELREMOVER
How should I use it?
STEP 1: File the top gel and color gel using a file or nail drill.
STEP 2: Apply the gel remover evenly over the entire nail surface, up to the edges, ensuring a thickness of 2–3mm.
STEP 3: After application, allow 10–15 minutes for the gel-dissolving ingredients to fully penetrate the gel nail.
Finally, use a pusher or similar tool to gently remove the gel nail from your nails.
How much should I file the top gel and color gel for easy removal?
File the color gel until approximately 80–90% of it is no longer visible.
Be careful not to over-file, as this could damage your natural nails.
What should I do if I can't remove the gel in one attempt?
If the base gel type or coating amout is not substantial, it may not come off in a single attempt.
In such cases, reapply the gel remover and repeat the same process.
For better results, warm your fingertips with warm water or a heated towel (do not use open flames) before applying the gel remover.
How many applications can one bottle provide?
One bottle (20g) can be used for approximately 7–10 applications.
Why is it less harsh on nails and skin?
Traditional liquid nail removers often require cotton and aluminum foil, which can cause the remover to flow onto the surrounding skin during application. This can strip the skin of its natural oils and lead to irritation or inflammation.
In contrast, 5’OFF GELREMOVER has a thicker, gel-like consistency that minimizes dripping and reduces the possibility of direct contact with the skin around the nails, thereby lowering skin irritation.
Additionally, the ingredients in this gel remover are less dehydrating compared to the acetone commonly used in traditional removers. This helps retain the natural moisture of the nails, reducing the risk of them turning white or brittle.
Why don’t we use cotton or aluminum foil?
Traditional acetone-based nail removers are liquid and require soaking into cotton to prevent them from dripping off the nail. Additionally, due to acetone’s high volatility, aluminum foil is used to slow evaporation and keep the soaked cotton in place.
In contrast, 5’OFF GELREMOVER has a thick gel-like consistency, so it doesn’t drip even when applied directly to the nails. Approximately one minute after application, the gel forms a film on the nail surface, allowing its three active ingredients to penetrate the gel nail effectively, making it easier to remove.
As a result, there’s no need for cotton or aluminum foil during the process.
Are there any base gels that cannot be removed with the gel remover?
Hard gels and acrilic nails are too hard to remove with 5’OFFGELREMOVER.
Does it contain acetone?
No, it does not contain. This is an acetone free remover.
Is there an expiration date?
The product is good for 3 years if unopened and 1 year after opening.
Please ensure the lid is tightly closed and store it in a cool, dark place.
